The Lagos state government has discharged five Coronavirus patients after they tested negative to the virus. The patients were treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the cheering news on Twitter this evening. He wrote

I am excited to announce some positive news ahead of our lockdown. We have just discharged 5 formerly positive #COVID19 patients from our Infectious Disease Hospital after treatment and multiple testing by our specialists. Congratulations to the healthcare team and the patients.
