Court heard that on Saturday, April 4, the suspects attacked and harmed individuals, a large portion of whom were ladies, at Elegu outskirt with South Sudan under the guise of authorizing the President’s orders on coronavirus and time limitation.

The presumes included Lance Cpl Awany Constantine, Pte Muhamed Makanga, Ebong John Max, Robert Muteke, Amanya Rogers and Ayebazibwe Elias.

Since all the blamed officials were individuals for the UPDF armed force connected to the 71st Battalion, they were charged together, the arraignment told the court.

The six officials were accused independently of various checks including ambush causing substantial damage, attack causing real mischief and doing heinous real damage.

After perusing their charges, every one of the officials quickly confessed and requested that the court pardon them since they were under order.
