We talked about few things to know about modelling some weeks ago, so now we are going to give you some important things a runway model must know.

Many people don’t know that models work really hard to make it to the top. A model must eat right, work out constantly and have a ton of confidence before they walk a catwalk for a famous designer. It’s not easy to be a runway model and these ladies have to obey a few rules to earn a spot on the catwalk.

Some of the most important rules a runway model must follow are sticking to a very strict diet, giving up some of their favorite foods for a long time, and getting a trainer who will help them achieve the body that they want. However, there are other rules that just seem way over the top. It’s been said that many models don’t eat at all the same day of a big show and they must follow an insane beauty regime to keep their skin looking perfect.

Just like any job, there are rules that must be followed. However, a day in the life of a model can seem overbearing with these strict rules and more stressful than your average job. Check out these 20 rules that a runway model must follow to make it to the top!

3. *DON’T EVER LOOK DOWN*

It’s hard not to look down when walking a catwalk, but models are constantly practicing and perfecting their walk. Models need to have a ton of patience while all this is happening to them.
